Hello again from Delafield! It has been a long time since I have posted on Abby's blog. If you are following her life, you know that she has a new name! Hola de nuevo de Delafield! Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que he publicado en el blog de Abby. ¡Si usted sigue su vida, usted sabe que ella tiene un nuevo nombre! Sr Maria Gracia!

It was very exciting to see the dresses, veils, candles, sashes and brooches waiting for the novices!

Fue muy emocionante ver los vestidos, velos, velas, fajas y broches a la espera de los novatos!












It was amazing to see the radiance and sheer joy on the faces of the girls. A deep peace which comes from the Holy Spirit.




Fue increíble ver el resplandor y la pura alegría en las caras de las chicas. Una paz profunda que viene del Espíritu Santo.

     Greetings!! Hello, all from Delafield, Wi and Abby's family. I just wanted to give an update on her first couple of weeks in Postulancy. She is really happy and missing her friends and family a lot! Thank you to all those who have written her. She said it helps her feel connected to you, knowing the adventures and boring daily routines you are living.

     Life is simple for her so far, as she gets familiar with a part of the community she had never been in before. That is saying a lot for Abby who had been most everywhere!  One good thing about a simple life is less stress and lots of rest...a big change for her and a good one from the "mom" perspective.

     We are hoping to have a chance to say hello this weekend at Covenant Sunday and maybe sneak in a hug! I will post again when i have more to write. Thanks for writing to her and Happy Father's Day!

¡¡Saludos!! Hola, todos de Delafield, Wi y la familia de Abby. Sólo quería dar una actualización sobre su primer par de semanas en el postulantado. Ella es muy feliz y desaparecidos a sus amigos y familia mucho! ¡Gracias a todos los que la han escrito. Ella dijo que le ayuda a sentirse conectado con usted, conociendo las aventuras y las rutinas diarias aburridas que están viviendo.

     La vida es simple para ella hasta el momento, mientras se familiariza con una parte de la comunidad que nunca había estado antes. Eso es mucho decir para Abby que había sido más por todas partes! Una cosa buena acerca de una vida sencilla es menos estrés y mucho descanso ... un gran cambio para ella y uno bueno desde la perspectiva "madre".

     Estamos esperando tener la oportunidad de saludar este fin de semana en Domingo de Alianza y tal vez colarse en un abrazo! Voy a publicar de nuevo cuando tengo más que escribir. Gracias por escribir a ella y Feliz Día del Padre!

Hello everyone!!!! saludos a todos (español dsp del inglés :) )!!
I know many people have already heard, but also that I great many of my friends have not been told yet, and so I wanted to make sure I officially announced to you all that I have made the most beautiful decision of my life, and will be giving my life to God as a Schoenstatt Sister of Mary.
I will be joining 6 other young women (between the ages of 18 and 28) in our formation process, officially as of May 31, 2016. During the first 6 months of postulancy and the two years of novitiate I will be living at the Provincial House in Waukesha, WI, USA. My reception as novice, the moment when I will receive my dress and name as a sister, will be on December 3rd, 2016!
During this period 2 1/2 years, I will be able (and excited!) to receive any and all letters, etc sent to me, although I won’t be able to respond - only through my prayers for each of you! Also, if you ever have anything more urgent you would like me to pray for, or if due to distance it would be very difficult to send letters by mail, feel free to write to me at my mom’s email address, and she will print whatever it is for me! Sé que ya saben algunos de ustedes, pero para los demás, quiero anunciarles que con mucha gracia de Dios, tomé la decisión, y ¡voy a entregarme a Dios como Hermana de María de Schoenstatt!!
El 31 de mayo (para los schoenstattianos, qué linda la fecha, ¿no?? :) ), entro oficialmente, voy a juntarme con mis 6 hermanas de curso, otras 6 que también han contestado a Dios en esta vocación. Durante los 6 meses del postulantado y 2 años de noviciado viviré en la Casa Provincial de las Hermanas en Waukesha, WI, USA (20 min de Milwauke, si tienen la pregunta). Mi vestición, cuando recibimos el vestido y nombre de hermana, será el 3 de diciembre de 2016. Por favor, ¡recen por nosotras!
Durante estos años de formación, podré recibir todo escrito (y con toda alegría!!!) de ustedes - cartas, etc. aunque no podré responder hasta el fin de noviciado. Si sería demasiado difícil por tema de la distancia mandar cartas por correo postal, también pudieran enviar cartas por correo electrónico a la dirección de mi mamá: 5offaith@gmail.com .
